Jesus said to them, “Come with me, I’ll make a new kind of fisherman out of you. I’ll show you how to catch men and women instead of perch and bass.” It’s in this spirit we reach out to you to help us be better “fishers of men and women.” How do we do it? Though the charitable works and giving that come only from the heart. We embrace the spirit and let it move us to offer what we can; that is true giving and living the word.
Living the Word Living the gospel of “come follow me,” through volunteerism, through acts of kindness and giving when it’s most difficult that makes us true Christians. The Ole Foundation are currently supporting students in Vietnam, Democratic Republic of Congo, India and the Philippines to fulfill this vital mission.
Supporting Vocations With over 100 male and female students in Vietnam, 10 in Congo, and India we are developing student vocations to fill the everchanging needs of our faith. As the priesthood changes and the number of nuns diminish and age toward retirement, we are acutely aware of the needs for the Holy Father to fulfill his mission. So many priests, nuns and members of the clergy are not being replaced at the same rate of attrition from their divine calling. In an effort to help satisfy this growing void, we are expanding a new program in many nations including the Philippine Islands where our goal is to support 1,000 students and be constantly graduating 10% each year. This deep well of spiritual leadership can help supplement and reinforce an expanding supply of those who hear the call of, “come follow me” through Ole Foundation scholarships, tuition, room and board and generous giving from ordinary people like you looking to share their gifts of time, talent and treasure.
